Stainless steel levelling feet

Stainless steel levelling feet are small, inconspicuous machine elements that are nevertheless indispensable for the precise functioning of a machine or system. Stainless steel machine feet enable precise alignment and a safe stand at all times. MOVET adjustable feet made of high-quality stainless steel are particularly suitable for use in hygienically demanding environments, for example in the food or chemical industry. The adjustable feet are available in a wide variety of versions. In addition to articulated feet, which allow particularly easy alignment, our portfolio of machine feet also includes versions with a rigid spindle or equipped with anti-slip plates made of NBR. Learn all about the many advantages offered by VA machine feet here.

The advantages of stainless steel feet

Stainless steel is a particularly hygienic material that is easy to clean. Stainless steel feet from MOVET can be quickly and easily retrofitted at any time to simple conveyor belts or work tables as well as to highly complex machines. In addition to standard thread sizes, our product range also includes a large selection of stainless steel feet with joints that make it particularly easy to align machines, tables and systems on uneven surfaces. For a particularly non-slip stand, we recommend you take a look at our adjustable feet with anti-slip soles. The NBR plastic used here enables an extremely safe stand, but is easy to clean at the same time.

Adjustable feet made of stainless steel: safe standing guaranteed

Adjustable feet made of stainless steel are much more than "just" simple aids that enable a predefined distance to the hall floor. Rather, levelling feet enable the machine or system to be adapted to the conditions in operation. In addition to vibration damping, the adjustable feet also provide insulation, distribute weights evenly and increase the contact point with the floor. Adjustable feet with a joint significantly extend the range of applications even further. For example, the elements allow installation at predefined angles or on uneven surfaces without sacrificing precision or geometric accuracy. Stainless steel feet also require no costly maintenance - and can always be used reliably even after years of use.

Stainless steel hygiene feet

You can always rely on hygienic stainless steel feet. Stainless steel is a material that neither corrodes nor gives build-up a chance. Stainless steel is also particularly resistant to germs. A research group at Manchester Metropolitan University had already tested the germ resistance of stainless steel in an experiment in 2007. In a direct test, copper and stainless steel surfaces were wetted with a liquid that was saturated with staphylococci. While a biofilm formed on the copper that could no longer be removed, the stainless steel surfaces were germ-free even after several days. The reason for this is the particularly smooth surface of the stainless steel. Germs have no chance to settle here. Stainless steel also does not release any particles during use. This means that organic substances are not contaminated on contact.

Buy stainless steel machine feet

At MOVET, you can buy stainless steel machine feet that are precisely tailored to the respective requirements of your machines, systems, conveyors or work tables. We offer machine feet with thread pitches from M16 to M30 and different spindle length ranges. For a particularly safe stand, you can buy machine feet from us made of stainless steel, which either have an anti-slip coating made of high-quality plastic or are equipped with holes through which the machine feet can be permanently anchored to the ground. With different diameters of the foot plate, we ensure that the right adjustable foot is available for you for every machine weight.

How to choose the right machine foot

When selecting a suitable stainless steel machine base, a number of parameters must be taken into account. Apart from existing regulations on hygiene, these are above all the technical requirements. Is a rigid machine foot or rather an articulated foot required? Does the adjustable foot have to be vibration-damping or particularly non-slip? What length of threaded rod is needed for reliable, precise alignment and how large must the diameter of the plate be? Adjustable feet must of course also be able to bear the weight of the machine or system. Therefore, it must be determined in advance what weight a machine foot must be able to withstand.

Is retrofitting possible?

For some machines, work tables or conveyor belts, the use of adjustable feet is not provided for by the manufacturer. Nevertheless, the vast majority of machines and systems can be retrofitted with stainless steel levelling feet without great effort! For MOVET stainless steel adjustable feet, we only use common standard threads between M16 and M30. This means that you can quickly and easily provide existing machines and systems with the corresponding threaded holes - and retrofit our adjustable feet. We would be happy to discuss this with you in a personal meeting. Just give us a call or write to us.
